How do you stay upbeat when it seems like there’s nothing but bad news? Well, the reality is that you’ve just got to – for your family, your business, and yourself! And if I’m being really honest, focusing on work is a lovely distraction from the news these days.   

I’m staying upbeat by keeping my team focused on what’s coming on the horizon. That’s what marketers do, right? We look to the future. We create the risk. This is typically why legal teams and marketing teams don’t see eye to eye. We create risk by saying, “What if we did this?” and “Wouldn’t it be cool if…?”

That is what we all need to lean to into right now. Creating ideas, staying motivated, looking to the future, and believing that our brands and the services they provide are change agents for a more hopeful today and a better tomorrow. Keep this perspective and we’ll not only survive, but thrive. I know AC&C Marketing is looking to do just that. We’re here to help our clients look past the chaos and stay organized, on brand, and on message. There’s still plenty we can do to assist them in reaching their full potential and achieving their most exciting goals, even if it takes a little longer than expected.

COVID-19 can keep us home, but it can’t keep us down. I guess now would be a good time to give a shout out to our internet provider, which has long been the butt of our jokes but has now become our lifeline. I’m pretty psyched that we have the infrastructure to go remote and continue to serve our clients.
